Disaster Reaches Wichita

I am participating in a task force of relgious leaders in Wichita who are preparing to welcome 1800 or so visitors to our fine city, our neighbors from the south. Our plan is to welcome the neighbors and to provide a chaplaincy service while they are staying in our Century II Convention Center. Finally, it is a strong possibility that congregations can "resettle" folk into our community.
I am working on helping neighbors to find a new life here in Kansas. It could be very interesting. More later.

Hey, you have a great blog here! I'm definitely going to bookmark you!

I have a ##Blue Cross health insurance## site/blog. It pretty much covers ##self employed## related stuff.

Come and check it out if you get time :-)

Dave,
Good to hear from you...from my overview of the site, you're now in Wichita and have joined the reserve unit there? Good on you. We have several officer candidates from your unit here who will graduate this Thursday. For this or some other event, why not come to commissioning ceremonies for your unit? I'll buy lunch or something....God bless you, dear friend. Dave Pena
